Jamie Kirk is the founder of A New Beginning Mental Health & Wellness, a licensed psychotherapist, certified grief and trauma-informed professional, and passionate mental health advocate with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals through their healing journeys. Her work is grounded not only in clinical expertise but also in deep personal experience.
Jamie’s path to helping others was shaped by her own story of loss. She lost her father at a young age—a life-altering event that introduced her to grief long before she had the tools to understand it. Years later, she endured the unimaginable pain of losing her daughter over 21 years ago. That loss left a lasting impact and became the catalyst for her mission: to help others navigate the complex emotions of grief and trauma with support, understanding, and dignity.
Through A New Beginning, Jamie has created a safe haven for those experiencing loss, particularly in underserved communities where access to mental health resources is limited. Her approach combines clinical skills with heartfelt empathy, offering healing spaces where individuals can process their pain, rebuild their lives, and rediscover their sense of purpose.
Jamie believes that healing is not about forgetting, but about learning to carry your loss with grace—and finding hope on the other side of heartbreak.
