Jamie Kirk is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, author, and speaker with over 15 years of experience in mental health, trauma-informed care, and community-based programming. She is the Founder and Executive Director of A New Beginning Mental Health & Wellness, where she leads initiatives focused on supporting at-risk and unhoused teens and their families.
Jamie’s work is rooted in the belief that true healing requires both emotional support and access to essential resources. After years of working with individuals and families, she recognized a critical gap, many teens were struggling not only with their mental health, but also with unmet basic needs that directly impact their confidence, stability, and future.
In response, she restructured A New Beginning Mental Health & Wellness to bridge that gap, combining mental health education with tangible support such as hygiene resources, food assistance, educational supplies, and access to milestone experiences like prom and graduation.
Known for her compassionate yet direct approach, Jamie is committed to helping young people and families move from survival to stability. Her work focuses on restoring confidence, strengthening identity, and creating opportunities for lasting growth and transformation.
